The gas pressure regulators of the RDU-Т type with a heat-generator are designed for automatic regulation of the gas pressure at the set value “after the device” at the high-pressure trunk pipeline facilities
They are used at the:
- gas distribution stations,
- gas purification and drying plants,
- gas fields,
- compressor plants etc.
The regulators are of one-channel type, static and belong to the “M” category 1 climate version under GOST 15150-69.
The regulators are rated at operation at the ambient air temperature of +50С to -40С and the relative humidity of up to 95 % at the temperature of +35 С.
The RDU-Т regulators differ from other RDU regulators of the same class by heating the multipurpose device in the gas throttling zone using special built-in heat-generators operating without an external power supply unit due to taking over a part of kinetic and potential energy of the compressed trunk gas.
The heating temperature is sufficient for preventing from hydrate formation processes.
