KSOG-2К

The KSOG-2К odorization complexes are designed for feeding odorant microdoses into the natural gas flow supplied to consumers with the view of imparting an odor for timely detection of leaks.

The distinguishing feature is that regulation of the degree of odorization is performed automatically depending on the consumed gas volume.

The complex can operate in one of the three modes:

  • automatic;
  • semi-automatic;
  • manual.

  • The complex performs the following main functions:
  • read-out of information on current gas flow from the computer via the RS-232/485 interface;
  • automated regulation of odorant dozing in proportion to current gas flow at the site (automatic mode);
  • read-out and accumulation of data on odorant consumption in the internal archive in the nonvolatile memory in the following volume: hourly archive – for the last 31 days (the data are read out once an hour), daily archive – for the last 365 days (the data are read out once a day), monthly archive – for the last 3 years (the data are read out once a month);
  • control of dosage by the most recent gas flow data in case of cutoff of the information connection with the flowmeter at the facility recording unit or its failure and switching to preset flow values (setting) upon expiry of the specified time period;
  • continuous dosing control due to feedback using the flow transmitter;
  • visual control of the odorant level in the supply reservoir;
  • visual control of dosing in automatic and manual modes;
  • visual acknowledgement of dosing by indicator light during the time of feeding of the dose;
  • delivery to the external attention devices of the “Failure” signal in case of failure of the dosing valve or the flow transmitter, power supply failure, fallout of control pulses from the external source;
  • delivery by the pulse generator by the “Failure” signal of a broken audio signal and a blinking indicator signal about failure to feed a dose.
